The rivalry between the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens will get personal when the second episode of "EPIX Presents Road to the NHL Winter Classic" is presented on Wednesday (10 p.m. ET/PT and 9 p.m. CT, via EPIX, EPIX.com, NHL.com and BostonBruins.com).

"EPIX Road to the NHL Winter Classic" is a four-part series that chronicles the Bruins and Canadiens as they prepare for the 2016 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic on New Year's Day at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

In this episode, EPIX follows the Canadiens as they look to maintain their lead over the Bruins in the Atlantic Division standings. The show also will feature insight into the Bruins' home-and-home series against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Dec. 16 and Dec. 18. Viewers in Canada can view the second episode at 9 p.m. ET on Sportsnet. It also will air Thursday on RDS at 7 p.m. ET.

The first episode of "EPIX Presents Road to the NHL Winter Classic" opened explaining why every minute detail mattered before puck drop between the two rivals on Dec. 9 at Bell Centre. As Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban said, there are certain games circled during an 82-game season, and Montreal-Boston is one of them. Bruins forward Brad Marchand took it a step further when he said it's not just about earning two points against an Atlantic Division opponent. The intent is to not only win, but to embarrass them.
