Blackhawks dress Brookbank, Bollig for Game 3

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Chicago Blackhawks made two changes to their lineup for Game 3 of the Western Conference Second Round series against the Minnesota Wild, inserting Sheldon Brookbank on defense and Brandon Bollig as the left wing on the fourth line.

Brookbank takes the place of Nick Leddy, who was used for one shift in the third period of Game 2. Leddy has two assists and a minus-1 rating in eight games. On the fourth line, Jeremy Morin is back in the press box after playing in Game 2. Bollig, who was scratched for Game 2, rejoins Michael Handzus and Kris Versteeg.

Blackhawks' Hjalmarsson ready to go for Game 3

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson is good to go in Game 3 of the Western Conference Second Round series against the Minnesota Wild. He just can't talk about it.

Hjalmarsson was struck by a shot in the throat area during Game 2 on Sunday but never missed a shift. Tuesday, he took part in the morning skate wearing a throat guard, and he will play in Game 3 at Xcel Energy Center (9 p.m. ET; NBCSN, TSN, RDS2).

"He's not allowed to speak right now, but he is ready to go," coach Joel Quenneville said.
