Blackhawks dress Brookbank, Bollig for Game 3

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Chicago Blackhawks made two changes to their lineup for Game 3 of the Western Conference Second Round series against the Minnesota Wild, inserting Sheldon Brookbank on defense and Brandon Bollig as the left wing on the fourth line.

Brookbank takes the place of Nick Leddy, who was used for one shift in the third period of Game 2. Leddy has two assists and a minus-1 rating in eight games. It appears coach Joel Quenneville is looking for more size and physicality by inserting the 6-foot-1, 202-pound Brookbank, who played in three games during the first round. Leddy is from nearby Eden Prairie, Minn.

On the fourth line, Jeremy Morin is back in the press box after playing in Game 2. Bollig, who was scratched for Game 2, rejoins Michael Handzus and Kris Versteeg.

Chicago leads the best-of-7 series 2-1.

Minnesota also had a lineup change for the game, reinserting defenseman Keith Ballard into the lineup in place of Nate Prosser. Ballard is making his debut in the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs. He last played March 17.
