THIRD PERIOD

0.0: GAME OVER! THERE WILL BE A GAME 7 ON MONDAY NIGHT! Edmonton receives three points from each of Evan Bouchard, Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, but it was a complete team effort to extend this series, with Edmonton's PK going 4-for-4 – including an extended 5-on-3 in the second period – as part of a 5-1 Oilers victory that evens the series at 3-3. What a finish to this Second Round we're about to have.

See you Monday, Oilers fans, and bring your best! It's going to take everyone to beat this Canucks team in Game 7.

6:56: KANE CONVERTS OFF THE FACEOFF! Cool as you like from EK91! Leon Draisaitl wins the o-zone draw right to Kane and he liens up the perfect shot over Silovs' left pad. 5-1 Oilers.

16:34: NUGE NUDGES IT FIVE-HOLE! McDavid made the net-front pass on the rush and No. 93 is able to get a piece of it and send it through the wickets of Silovs, who was stretched out trying to get to the back post. Bouchard, McDavid and Nugent-Hopkins all get their third point of the contest. 4-1 Oilers.

20:00: GAME ON! Just 20 more solid minutes to see us into Game 7 on Monday at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Come on, boys!

SECOND PERIOD

0.0: Quinn Hughes hits the post on that power play before Derek Ryan comes out of the box and nearly gets a breakaway. Edmonton sees their 3-1 lead through to the intermission.

1:12: Derek Ryan takes an interference penalty before the Oilers' bench is charged with too many men, setting up a Canucks' five-on-three for 56 seconds. Vancouver takes their timeout.

5:31: Dakota Joshua hits Hyman in the face with his stick! A two-man advantage is incoming for the Oilers.

6:36: Conor Garland throws Brett Kulak back for an interference penalty. Edmonton is 0-for-1 tonight so far with the man advantage.

8:40: BOUCH BOMB DETONATED! An excellent offensive-zone shift by the top line and its top defensive pairing comes through at the end, with Bouchard delivering a shot from the top of the zone off the far post and past Silovs for a two-goal Oilers lead with 8:309 left in the middle frame.

20:00: The third period is underway!

FIRST PERIOD

0.8: Bouchard looked to have scored a last-second goal to end the period, but it was waved off immediately by the official for goaltender interference against Leon Draisaitl. Head Coach Kris Knoblauch took a long look before deciding against challenging it.

After 20 minutes, it's 1-1.

3:24: Draisaitl is wide open in front for a golden opportunity but the pass from Evander Kane rolls off his stick on the attempted one-timer.

8:44: Connor McDavid is called for high sticking on Carson Soucy. Second power play for the Canucks.

9:57: Canucks tie it up. Nils Hoglander gets two whacks in front after Elias Pettersson made the pass from below the goal line. Edmonton's defence didn't pick up their man. 1-1.

11:42: WHAT AN AMAZING GOAL! DYLAN HOLLOWAY THROUGH THE DEFENCE AND THROUGH THE FIVE-HOLE! The Hollywood lights of the Stanley Cup Playoffs were for this 22-year-old, and the Calgary product gets the opening goal off a pick-up near the penalty box and a terrific move through the Vancouver defence before he slid it five-hole. That's his third goal of the playoffs and it makes it 1-0 Oilers.

Holloway hits the jets & goes five-hole on Silovs to make it 1-0

18:14: Draisaitl is called for interference on Conor Garland at the benches.

20:00: GAME ON! Win or go home, there is no other option for the Edmonton Oilers.
