• After posting a career-high 105 points, including 41 goals and 64 assists in only 49 games, Drouin was named the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s Most Valuable Player, Best Professional Prospect and Personality of the Year in 2012-13. He led the Mooseheads to the top spot in the QMJHL regular-season standings, recording a plus-49 rating.

• Drouin won a gold medal at the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament as a member of Team Canada and represented his country as a 17-year-old at the 2013 World Junior Championship.

• His off-season activity of choice is tennis: “It helps with hand-eye [coordination], footwork -- you got to be able to go left or right. It's a sport that I love.”
