LONDON, Ont. - Anthony Stolarz stopped 34 shots as the London Knights blanked the visiting Brampton Battalion 1-0 in a shootout on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.
It was the first shutout of the 18-year-old's OHL career and in six games this season he is now 4-0-0 with a 1.84 goals-against average and .937 save percentage.
Matej Machovsky turned away all 28 shots he faced in a losing cause for the Battalion (23-18-9), who have earned at least one point in six straight games.
London went 0 for 3 on the power play while Brampton failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
