Broadhurst scores twice, Lake Erie blanks Manitoba 5-0

CLEVELAND - Alex Broadhurst struck twice and Anton Forsberg only had to make 19 saves for the shutout as the Lake Erie Monsters blanked the Mantioba Moose 5-0 on Saturday in American Hockey League action.

Mark Cundari and Lukas Sedlak added a goal and an assist each for the Monsters (34-20-10) while Josh Anderson had the other.

Eric Comrie kicked out 35-of-40 shots for the Moose (19-36-9), who blanked Lake Erie 4-0 on Friday.

The Monsters went 2 for 4 on the power play while Manitoba failed to score on two chances with the man advantage.
