William Carrier's two goals help Rochester Americans top Toronto Marlies 4-2

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - William Carrier scored twice — including the eventual winner — as the Rochester Americans topped the Toronto Marlies 4-2 on Saturday in American Hockey League play.

Cole Schneider and Jerry D'Amigo added goals for the Americans (28-26-3), who have back-to-back victories. Linus Ullmark made 40 saves to earn the win in net.

Connor Brown struck twice for the Marlies (43-12-4), the minor-league affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Goaltender Alex Stalock stopped 34-of-37 shots.

Rochester went 0 for 5 on the power play and Toronto was 0 for 3 with the man advantage.
