BOSTON - Milan Lucic scored in his return to Boston, Drew Doughty had a power-play goal for his 300th career point and the Los Angeles Kings had nine goal scorers in a 9-2 rout of the Bruins on Tuesday night.

Marian Gaborik added a goal and an assist for Los Angeles, which had lost four of six. Doughty also had an assist.

Jeff Carter, Andy Andreoff, Dwight King, Trevor Lewis, Luke Schenn and Dustin Brown also scored for the Kings, who chased Tuukka Rask during the second period on the way to setting a season high for goals. Los Angeles also had a season-best 57 shots on net.

The 27-year-old Lucic played eight seasons with the Bruins and was a member of their 2011 Stanley Cup championship team. Boston traded the popular wing at the beginning of last summer.

Brad Marchand scored his team-leading 25th goal, and Tyler Randell had the other score for the Bruins, who lost in regulation for just the third time in 11 games (7-3-1). Rask gave up five goals on 32 shots.

Jonathan Quick made 35 saves for the Kings.

DEVILS 2, OILERS 1

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Reid Boucher set up a goal and scored the game-winner 7:13 into the third period, and New Jersey edged Edmonton after retiring Martin Brodeur's No. 30 jersey in a rousing ceremony.

Adam Henrique also had a goal and an assist as the Devils snapped a three-game losing streak and sent the Oilers to their third straight loss. Cory Schneider made 19 saves for New Jersey.

Connor McDavid, the top pick in last year's draft, set up Jordan Eberle's goal for Edmonton.

PANTHERS 7, SABRES 4

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Panthers defenceman Alex Petrovic scored in the first minute of the second period to cap Florida's four-goal opening surge against Buffalo.

Florida scored seven goals for the second time this season after managing just two in its past two games, including a 3-0 loss at Detroit on Monday night.

Reilly Smith scored twice, including an empty-netter, and added an assist. Petrovic, Jussi Jokinen and Brian Campbell had a goal and assist apiece for the Atlantic Division leaders.

Jaromir Jagr and Brandon Pirri also scored in helping Florida improve to 6-1-1 in its past eight. The Panthers are 8-0-2 in their past 10 games at Buffalo.

Roberto Luongo stopped 30 shots to improve to 14-2-2 in his past 18 starts.

Sabres rookie Sam Reinhart scored two power-play goals in the second.

DUCKS 4, FLYERS 1

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Rickard Rakell had two goals, Chris Stewart scored on a penalty shot and Andrew Cogliano added an empty-netter to lead Anaheim over Philadelphia.

Frederik Andersen made 28 saves for the Ducks, who bounced back from Monday's 6-2 blowout at Pittsburgh that snapped their six-game winning streak. Anaheim improved to 14-4-1 since Christmas while getting the victory in the second game of a seven-game road trip that will cover 7,300 miles in 13 days.

Wayne Simmonds scored for the Flyers, who dropped their third straight overall and fifth in the last six home games.

ISLANDERS 3, BLUE JACKETS 2, SO

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Cal Clutterbuck scored the winning goal in the shootout, lifting New York to a comeback victory over Columbus.

Frans Nielsen also scored in the shootout and Jaroslav Halak stopped three of four attempts by the Blue Jackets. Anders Lee had the tying goal early in the third period.

Ryan Strome also scored in regulation for the Islanders, who completed a four-game sweep of the season series.

Alexander Wennerg had Columbus' lone shootout goal. Cam Atkinson and Brandon Dubinsky each had a goal and an assist in regulation. Rookie goalie Joonas Korpisalo made a career-high 44 saves.
