Second-period goals lead St. John's IceCaps to 2-1 victory over Albany Devils

ALBANY, N.Y. - Gabriel Dumont and Sven Andrighetto scored second-period goals to lead the St. John's IceCaps to a 2-1 win over the Albany Devils in AHL action Saturday.

Goaltender Eddie Pasquale stopped 32 shots for the IceCaps (19-14-6-3).

Vojtech Mozik had the lone goal for Albany (23-11-6-0) while goalie Scott Wedgewood made 20 saves.

Dumont opened the scoring at 7:41 of the second with his 12th goal of the season before Andrighetto scored his 10th on the power play at 19:21.

Mozik pulled Albany to within 2-1 with his second goal of the season coming on the power play at 2:25 of the third.
