The New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning complete the 2015 portion of their schedules when they face off at Amalie Arena in the outgoing year’s final Wednesday Night Rivalry game (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN).

The Lightning have dominated the rivalry in the past few years. Tampa Bay has won the past five regular-season games and kept the Rangers from advancing to the Stanley Cup Final last spring with a 2-0 victory in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final.

One reason for Tampa Bay’s recent regular-season dominance has been the play of goaltender Ben Bishop, who is 9-0-0 lifetime against the Rangers with a 1.43 goals-against average, a .947 save percentage and two shutouts. Bishop shut out the Rangers in Games 5 and 7 of the conference final.
