Ellis, Holloway, Hudon lead St. John's IceCaps past Toronto Marlies 5-1

TORONTO - Morgan Ellis, Bud Holloway and Charles Hudon had a goal and two assists each as the St. John's IceCaps topped the Toronto Marlies 5-1 on Sunday in American Hockey League play.

Daniel Carr and Mark MacMillan also scored for St. John's (11-5-5), the AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens. Zachary Fucale made 37 saves for the win.

T.J. Brennan replied for the Marlies (15-5-1), while Antoine Bibeau stopped 26 shots.

It was an undisciplined game, with Toronto racking up 48 minutes of penalties. The IceCaps earned 29 minutes of penalties.

St. John's went 3 for 9 on the power play, while the Marlies were 1 for 5.
