NHL Network and Sportsnet 1 will televise "Rogers Hometown Hockey" on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. ET, prior to the game between the Edmonton Oilers and Chicago Blackhawks. The location this week is Fredericton, New Brunswick and the show will celebrate the history of hockey in the city.

Among the features airing on the pregame show:

* St. Louis Blues goalie Jake Allen, the only active NHL player from Fredericton, was known for his golf skills before he made it to the NHL. Allen won back-to-back junior championships as a golfer and discusses his golf game on the course he played on as a boy.

* Willie O'Ree, 80, was born in Fredericton and was the first black player in the NHL. He played 45 games with the Boston Bruins.

* The town of Plaster Rock, New Brunswick has slightly more than 1,000 residents and hosts an annual pond hockey tournament to raise money for a new arena. There were 40 teams in 2002, the first year, but the event has grown to more than 120 teams from 15 countries.
