CHICAGO - Pheonix Copley stopped all 26 shots his way as the Chicago Wolves blanked the visiting Manitoba Moose 2-0 on Sunday in American Hockey League action.
Pat Cannone opened the scoring for the Wolves (5-1-1) at 4:20 of the second period and Jeremy Welsh doubled his club's lead midway through the third.
Eric Comrie kicked out 28-of-30 shots for the Moose (1-6-2), who have dropped back-to-back outings since beating the Milwaukee Admirals on Thursday for their first win of the season.
Neither club had any luck with the power play. Chicago went 0 for 6 while Manitoba failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
