NEW YORK / TORONTO -- The National Hockey League would like to remind fans attending the 2015 Molson Canadian NHL Face-Off™, the official NHL® season-opening celebration on Oct. 7 at historic Fort Calgary in Alberta, about parking, transit and security matters:

• The 2015 Molson Canadian NHL Face-Off will happen RAIN OR SHINE.

• Gates at Fort Calgary will open at 3 p.m, and the event will run through the conclusion of the Vancouver Canucks vs. Calgary Flames game shown on giant outdoor video screens. We encourage all fans to arrive early to allow enough time to proceed through security checks.

• All individuals entering the grounds at Fort Calgary will be screened by security personnel using hand wands.

• NO bags larger than 12" X 6" X 12" will be allowed into the venue.

• All permitted bags will be thoroughly searched. For a list of prohibited items that will not be permitted into Fort Calgary, visit NHL.com/Faceoff.

• Be sure to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately.

• Parking is extremely limited in the area so we encourage fans to use public transportation. For those that must drive, please carpool with friends.

• Fort Calgary is located near the C-Train line – the City Hall Station is only a few blocks walking distance from the site.
