Red Wings forward Helm sustains upper-body injury

Detroit Red Wings forward Darren Helm left the game Saturday against the Nashville Predators in the first period with an upper-body injury and will not return, according to the team.

Helm, who has 13 goals and 29 points, played five shifts for 2:41 of ice time.
