BOSTON - Jamie Benn and Trevor Daley scored two goals apiece, and Kari Lehtonen stopped 41 shots for the Dallas Stars in a 5-3 win over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night.

Vernon Fiddler also scored for Dallas, ending Boston's run as the only remaining NHL team that hadn't allowed a short-handed goal this season when he scored unassisted 7:28 into the game.

Daley added another short-handed goal for the Stars with 6:18 left in the second period, giving Dallas the lead for good after Boston had rallied from a 3-1 deficit to tie it on goals by Patrice Bergeron and Dougie Hamilton.

The Stars won despite being outshot 44-32 and playing without centre Tyler Seguin, the former Bruin who was tied for the NHL scoring lead with 59 points. Seguin spent his return to Boston at the team hotel with the flu.
