OHL Roundup: Alex DeBrincat and Dylan Strome lead Otters past 67's 7-2

OTTAWA - Alex DeBrincat and Dylan Strome had a goal and two assists each in the Erie Otters' 7-2 rout of the Ottawa 67's on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Travis Dermott, Nicholas Baptiste, Jake Marchment, Remi Elie and Kurtis MacDermid also scored for Erie (35-10-3), which has won back-to-back games. Devin Williams made 26 saves for the win.

Connor McDavid had three assists.

Brendan Bell and Sam Studnicka supplied the offence for Ottawa (26-19-3). Liam Herbst stopped 13-of-18 shots for the 67's in 43:54 of work, getting pulled after Marchment's goal. Leo Lazarev turned aside 6-of-8 shots in relief.

The Otters were 2 for 3 on the power play, while Ottawa was 1 for 4 with the man advantage.

BATTALION 3 ICEDOGS 2

NORTH BAY, Ont. — Ryan Kujawinski had two goals and an assist as the Battalion edged Niagara 3-2.

Alex Henriksson also scored for North Bay (24-12-10).

Brendan Perlini and Ryan Mantha had goals for the IceDogs (21-23-4).

Jake Smith made 29 saves for North Bay, while Brandon Hope stopped 32 shots for Niagara.

SPITFIRES 5 BULLS 2

WINDSOR, Ont — Slater Doggett had two goals and three assists to lead the Spitfires over Belleville.

Luke Kirwan, Anthony Stefano and Markus Soberg had the other goals for Windsor (21-25-2).

Jordan Subban and David Tomasek scored for Belleville (20-23-6).

Brendan Johnston stopped 39 shots for the Spitfires. Connor Hicks had 33 saves for the Bulls.

FRONTENACS 3 GENERALS 2 (SO)

OSHAWA, Ont. — Conor McGlynn scored the only goal in a shootout as Kingston edged the Generals.

Glynn also scored in regulation, with Lawson Crouse providing the other goal for Kingston (19-20-7).

Mitchell Vande Sompel and Michael Dal Colle provided the offence for Oshawa (38-7-4).

Lucas Peressini stopped 42 shots for the Frontenacs, while Ken Appelby made 25 saves for the Generals.
