TORONTO - The league-leading Oshawa Generals have added some offensive punch for their push toward an Ontario Hockey League title.

The Generals acquired winger Matt Mistele from the Plymouth Whalers before Friday's noon trade deadline.

Oshawa sent centre Ryan Moore and five draft picks — Guelph's fourth-round selection in 2015, a sixth-round pick in '16, a fourth-round selection in '17, a third-round choice in '19 and a second-round pick in '20 — to Plymouth.

The Generals acquired Moore and Guelph's fourth-round pick earlier from Windsor for centre Chase Pearson, a third-round pick in 2018 and a second-round pick in 2021.

Mistele has 24 goals and 18 assists in 35 games with Plymouth this season.

He leaves the struggling Whalers to join a Generals team that leads the OHL with a 30-5-1 record.

Moore has five goals and 15 assists in 33 games this season.

Pearson was a fourth-round pick by the Generals in the 2013 OHL draft.

In another multi-player trade, the Barrie Colts acquired defencemen Ben Harpur and Chadd Baumann from Guelph in exchange for forward Givani Smith, defenceman C.J. Garcia, second-round picks in '17 and '18, a fifth-round pick in '19 and a 10th-rounder in '20.

Harpur is the key player in the deal. A fourth-round pick of the Ottawa Senators in 2013, Harpur has four goals, 16 assists and a plus-10 rating in 28 games this season.

In other moves, Sarnia acquired defenceman Josh De Farias from London for a seventh-round pick and sent centre Vladislav Kodola to Saginaw for a fifth-round pick.

Peterborough sent winger Stephen Nosad to Barrie for a 10th-round pick.
