Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Luke Schenn will miss approximately two weeks with an upper-body injury, the team announced Sunday.

Schenn was injured Saturday when he was hit into the end boards by Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon with 52.4 seconds remaining in the first period. MacKinnon received a five-minute major for boarding. Philadelphia won the game 4-3 for its third straight victory.

Schenn has a goal and two points and is a minus-5 in 14 games this season. The Flyers are also missing defensemen Andrew MacDonald (lower body) and Kimmo Timonen (blood clots). Top defensive prospect Shayne Gostisbehere will have surgery Nov. 13 to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee sustained No. 7 while playing with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Flyers' American Hockey League affiliate.

The Flyers did get back Braydon Coburn, who returned after sustaining a lower-body injury in the season opener.
