COLUMBUS -- Toronto Maple Leafs left wing Joffrey Lupul is out indefinitely with a broken right hand sustained after falling in practice Thursday, according to the Maple Leafs.

Lupul was scratched against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday.

Lupul has two goals and one assist in nine games and had been moved to the top line with center Nazem Kadri and right wing Phil Kessel.

Former Blue Jackets forward Matt Frattin replaced Lupul in the lineup Friday.
