Los Angeles Kings center Anze Kopitar left the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday in the second period with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Kopitar played 15 shifts and saw 10:39 of ice time but did not return to the ice after 12:58 of the second period.

Coach Darryl Sutter said “He’s all right” after the Kings' 5-2 victory when asked about the severity of Kopitar's injury and whether he will travel with the team on a six-game road trip that opens Tuesday against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Kings are also without injured forwards Marian Gaborik and Trevor Lewis.
