TORONTO - Joffrey Lupul's status for the Maple Leafs' next game is uncertain after the winger missed practice today with a lower-body injury.

Coach Randy Carlyle says Lupul tweaked the injury in Toronto's 3-2 overtime win over the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday night.

The 31-year-old Lupul skated on his own before practice but did not take part in the team workout.

Brandon Kozun moved up to the Leafs' second line with Daniel Winnik and Nazem Kadri.

Lupul was not made available for comment after the practice.

The Maple Leafs will entertain the Detroit Red Wings on Friday night.
