Boston Bruins forward David Krejci practiced Sunday for the second straight day and is hopeful to return to the lineup Monday against the Colorado Avalanche at TD Garden.

Krejci left the Bruins' preseason finale Oct. 4 with an undisclosed injury and has missed the first three games of the regular season.

"Every day [is] better," Krejci told the Bruins website. "Today was a pretty good day, so hopefully [I'll] wake up tomorrow and feel good enough to play. But we got to wait till tomorrow."

Krejci skated on a line with Milan Lucic and Seth Griffith, recalled from Providence of the American Hockey League on Sunday. Though Krejci must be cleared, Bruins coach Claude Julien is optimistic he'll be able to play Monday.
