Edmonton Oilers sign forwards Pitlick, Hamilton to one-year contracts

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Oilers agreed to terms on one-year contracts with forwards Tyler Pitlick and Curtis Hamilton on Tuesday.

Pitlick, 22, played in 10 games with the Oilers last season, registering his first career NHL goal on Oct. 26th against the Phoenix Coyotes. He also appeared in 39 games for the American Hockey League's Oklahoma City Barons in 2013-14, scoring eight goals with 14 assists and 10 penalty minutes.

Pitlick was selected by Edmonton in the second round of the 2010 NHL draft.

Hamilton, 22, has 36 points (18 goals and 18 assists), along with 41 penalty minutes in 145 career AHL games. He was also drafted by Edmonton in the second round of the '10 draft.
