Flyers trade McGinn to Sharks for 2015 draft pick

The Philadelphia Flyers traded restricted free-agent forward Tye McGinn to the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday for a third-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft.

McGinn, 23, had four goals and five points in 18 games with the Flyers last season, and 20 goals and 35 points in 54 games with the Adirondack Phantoms, Philadelphia's American Hockey League affiliate.

A 2010 fourth-round pick (No. 119) of the Flyers, McGinn has seven goals and 10 points in 36 game across parts of the past two seasons.
