OHL Roundup: Strome scores winner as Otters take 1-0 series lead over Greyhounds

SAULT STE MARIE, Ont. - Dylan Strome scored the eventual winner 11:53 into the second period as the Erie Otters took Game 1 of their second round Ontario Hockey League playoff series 3-1 over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Wednesday.

Connor Brown and Michael Curtis also scored for the Otters, who led 3-0 until 16:41 of the third period.

A goal from Greyhounds defenceman Kyle Jenkins spoiled Devin Williams shutout bid with less than four minutes to play.

Williams stopped 26 shots for the win, while his Sault Ste. Marie counterpart, Matt Murray, made 23 saves.
