OTTAWA -- Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson was injured and left the game Monday against the Nashville Predators at Canadian Tire Centre at 4:50 of the third period. He did not return.

Anderson skated off to the dressing room after Senators left wing Milan Michalek collided with him on a Nashville scoring chance. He stopped 26 of 29 shots before the injury.

"I was backchecking there and unfortunately I hit him, I hit him pretty hard, so I hope he's going to be fine," Michalek said of Anderson, who is 21-14-8 with a 3.10 goals-against average and .908 save percentage in 47 appearances.

The nature of Anderson's injury is not known.

Robin Lehner stopped 12 of 13 shots he faced in relief. The Predators won the game 4-3 in overtime when rookie defenseman Seth Jones slammed a rebound past Lehner at 3:49.
