OHL Roundup: O'Neill makes 35 saves to lead Battalion past Colts 3-2

BARRIE, Ont. - Brendan O'Neill stopped 35 shots as the North Bay Battalion edged the Barrie Colts 3-2 in Ontario Hockey League play Tuesday.

Vincent Praplan, Alex Henriksson and Nick Paul each scored for North Bay (32-22-6).

Jake Dotchin and Garrett Hooey replied for the Colts (31-25-3).

Daniel Gibl meanwhile turned aside 26 shots in Barrie's net.

WHALERS 4 RANGERS 2

KITCHENER, Ont. — Alex Nedeljkovic made 35 saves as Plymouth held off the Rangers.

Zach Lorentz, Cullen Mercer, Victor Crus Rydberg and Carter Sandlak each scored for the Whalers (24-30-6), who had two goals in the third period on just five shots.

Nick Magyar and Brent Pedersen replied for Kitchener (22-35-3), which lost its third in a row.

The Rangers pulled starter Jordan DeKort after he allowed two goals on nine shots. He was replaced by Matthew Greenfield, who made 10 saves.
