The Boston Bruins and Columbus Blue Jackets exchanged minor-league players Friday, with the Bruins sending center Carter Camper to the Blue Jackets in exchange for defenseman Blake Parlett.

Camper, 25, has one goal in three career NHL games, all during the 2011-12 season. In 41 games this season with the Bruins' American Hockey League team, the Providence Bruins, Camper is third on the team with 31 points.

He was signed as a free agent by the Bruins on April 7, 2011, after a four-season career at Miami University.

Parlett, 24, has split his four professional seasons between the AHL and the ECHL. In 37 games this season with the Springfield Falcons, the Blue Jackets' AHL team, he has 18 points and a minus-3 rating.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder originally signed with the Hartford Wolf Pack, the New York Rangers' American Hockey League team, on July 29, 2010, after playing five seasons with three teams in the Ontario Hockey League. He was dealt to the Blue Jackets as part of the Marian Gaborik trade on April 3, 2013.
