Second-period outburst earns Chicago Wolves 5-2 AHL victory over Bulldogs

CHICAGO - Mark Mancari, Pat Cannone and Dmitrij Jaskin scored second-period goals to lead the Chicago Wolves to a 5-2 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs in AHL action Wednesday afternoon.

Ty Rattie had two first-period goals for Chicago (13-12-2) while Jake Allen stopped 18 shots for the win.

Morgan Ellis and Jarred Tinordi replied for Hamilton (12-13-3). Dustin Tokarski turned aside 19 shots over two periods in taking the loss before giving way to Mike Condon, who made eight saves.

Tinordi made it 2-2 at 5:45 of the second before Mark Mancari put Chicago ahead at 8:28. Cannone replied at 14:55 before Jaskin rounded out the scoring at 17:19.

Ellis opened the scoring unassisted with a short-handed goal at 10:47 of the first before Rattie responded on the power play at 11:43. He then put Chicago ahead 2-1 at 19:04.

Hamilton was 0-for-7 on the power play while Chicago finished 1-for-8.
