OTTAWA -- Ottawa Senators forward Erik Condra left his team's game against the New York Islanders on Friday night late in the first period because of a muscle strain in his right leg and will not return.
Condra went to the dressing room after he opened the scoring with his first goal of the season at 18:38. He returned for the second and played two shifts before leaving again.
The Senators announced the injury and confirmed that he will not return.
