The Toronto Maple Leafs could have goaltender James Reimer and forward James van Riemsdyk in the lineup Saturday for their game against the Chicago Blackhawks (7 p.m. ET, NHLN-US, CBC).

Reimer practiced Friday after leaving the Maple Leafs' game Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes after just 32 seconds following a collision with teammate Josh Leivo.

Reimer was attempting to recover a rebound when a backchecking Leivo appeared to make contact with the goalie's head. Reimer lay on the ice before skating with assistance to the locker room. Coach Randy Carlyle said after the game Reimer had a headache.

"I had a bit of a headache so the doctor felt it was in my best interest that I stay out for the rest of the game," Reimer told Mike Brophy of CBC Sports. "I came in this morning and felt pretty good. I rode the bike and worked out before I hit the ice and when I got on the ice I felt pretty good."

Also practicing Friday was van Riemsdyk, who has missed the past two games due to back spasms.
