WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Jets forward Evander Kane admits it's frustrating that he has never seen the NHL playoffs from the inside.

But this season he's doing what he can to change that, as the Jets prepared for the Montreal Canadiens Tuesday night.

Kane has stepped up with a more physical all-round game and is now back with Bryan Little and Blake Wheeler on the team's No. 1 line.

Coach Claude Noel is trying to get more production out of his top lines and Kane has traded places with team captain Andrew Ladd.

Kane likes to shoot the puck and that's something the Jets have needed.

Kane leads all Jets with his 30 shots on goal so far this season, good for three goals and two assists.
