Kings agree to terms with Nolan on two-year deal

The Los Angeles Kings announced Sunday they have signed forward Jordan Nolan to a two-year contract extension. According to TSN's Darren Dreger, the deal is worth $1.4 million.

With this extension, the Kings avoided salary arbitration with the 24-year-old who first cracked the team's lineup during the 2011-12 season. In his first season in the League, the St. Catherines, Ontario native scored two goals and four points in 26 games and provided energy and toughness to a Kings team that won the Stanley Cup.

The son of former NHL player and coach Ted Nolan, Nolan has four goals and 10 points in 70 NHL games. He was selected by the Kings in the seventh round (No. 186) of the 2009 NHL Draft.
