Wild agree with defensemen Blum, Landry

The Minnesota Wild on Friday agreed to terms with defensemen Jonathon Blum and Jon Landry each on a one-year, two-way contract.

Blum, 24, had seven points (one goal) in 35 games with the Nashville Predators last season, and 12 points (one goal) in 34 games with the Milwaukee Admirals in the American Hockey League (AHL).

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound California native has 22 points (seven goals) in 91 NHL games during three seasons with the Predators. He was selected by Nashville in the first-round (No. 23) of the 2007 NHL Draft.

Landry, 30, had 33 points (eight goals) in 72 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL last season. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Quebec native split the 2011-12 season between Bridgeport and the Colorado Eagles (ECHL).
