Desperate Ottawa Senators try to keep season alive against Penguins

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Ottawa Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson isn't sure his team can win three straight games against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Penguins, though, don't consider that admission Alfredsson's way of waving the white flag.

Pittsburgh took a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinals with a dominating 7-3 win on Wednesday.

While the Penguins are in command heading into Game 5 on Friday, they have struggled closing out playoff series at home under coach Dan Bylsma. Pittsburgh is 0-6 in potential home clinchers with Bylsma at the helm.

Forward Matt Cooke says the fourth win in a series is always the hardest to get. Pittsburgh let a 3-1 lead in the first round against Tampa Bay slip away two years ago, falling at home in Game 7.
