BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Alan Quine scored twice Friday as the Belleville Bulls beat the Barrie Colts 3-1 to avoid elimination on home ice in Game 5 of the Ontario Hockey League's Eastern Conference final.

The Colts still lead the best-of-seven series 3-2 with Game 6 set for Saturday in Barrie.

Austen Brassard picked up the other goal for Belleville, while Anthony Camara replied for Barrie.

Malcolm Subban made 41 saves for the Colts. Mathias Niederberger stopped 37 shots for the Bulls.

Both clubs came out to a fast-paced start with scoring chances at both ends as both Subban and Niederberger made spectacular saves to keep the game scoreless after one period.

Barrie opened the scoring at 3:33 the second when Camara stepped into the slot and wired a wrist shot over Subban's glove for his sixth of the post-season.

Facing elimination, Belleville answered back with back-to-back goals from Brassard and Quine in the period's final four minutes to grab a 2-1 lead after two.

Barrie looked to have tied the game in the final second, but after review it was ruled that time had expired.

Quine added his second of the game on the power play in the third period.
