BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Tyler Graovac and Carter Sandlak each had a goal and an assist as the Belleville Bulls downed the visiting Sudbury Wolves 6-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.
Daniil Zharkov, Niki Petti, Scott Simmonds and Stephen Silas also scored for the Bulls, who lead the Eastern Conference second-round matchup 1-0, while Austen Brassard, Alan Quine and Brendan Gaunce each chipped in with two assists.
Michael Kantor, Dominik Kahun and Nathan Pancel scored for the Wolves, who fell to 2-2 on the road in the post-season.
Malcolm Subban made 29 saves for the win as Franky Palazesse stopped 40-of-46 shots in defeat.
Belleville went 2 for 5 on the power play while Sudbury scored once on four chances with the man advantage.
The Bulls will host Game 2 on Sunday at the Yarmen Arena.
