ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - Goalie Troy Grosenick made 34 saves and Union shut out Yale 5-0 Friday in the semifinals of the ECAC tournament.

Five different players scored and the fourth-seeded Dutchman won their fifth straight and seventh in their last nine.

Union (20-12-5), a Frozen Four team a year ago, will defend its ECAC title against Brown in the championship game Saturday. The No. 7 seed Bears beat top-seeded Quinnipiac 4-0 earlier Friday.

Union scored twice in the first and second periods, getting some luck in the second when Josh Jooris deflected the puck off the skate of Yale's Mitch Witek and past goalie Jeff Malcolm to make it 4-0. Sam Coatta added a goal with a backhander from his knees with 26 seconds left in the game.

Yale (18-11-3) will face Quinnipiac in Saturday's consolation game. Both teams are expected to get NCAA tournament berths.
