Bardaro scores winner, Siemens stops 45 shots as Raiders beat Blades

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Anthony Bardaro scored once in regulation then added the shootout winner as the Prince Albert Raiders edged the visiting Saskatoon Blades 4-3 in Western Hockey League action.

Luke Siemens earned the game's first star after stopping 45-of-48 shots for the win.

Evan Morden and Mark McNeill also scored for the Raiders (37-28-7), who secured fifth spot in the Eastern Conference.

Josh Nicholls scored twice for the Blades (44-22-6), who are the second seed in the Eastern Conference, while Darren Dietz had three assists.

Brendan Walker scored once to round out Saskatoon's offence and Alex Moodie made 31 saves in defeat.

Prince Albert went 1 for 8 on the power play while Saskatoon scored once on seven chances with the man advantage.
