EVERETT, Wash. - Kohl Bauml scored twice and Austin Lotz made 43 saves as the Everett Silvertips doubled up the visiting Portland Winterhawks 4-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.
Manraj Hayer had a goal and an assist for the Silvertips (23-37-5), who came into the game with just one win in their last 10 outings, and Reid Petryk scored the other.
Ty Rattie scored both goals for the Winterhawks (51-12-3), who dropped their third game in a row, and Mac Carruth stopped 21-of-24 shots in defeat.
Everett went 2 for 5 on the power play while Portland scored once on four chances with the man advantage.
