Graham Black, Colby Cave each score twice as Swift Current clobbers Brandon 6-1

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Graham Black scored twice and assisted on another as the Swift Current Broncos skated to a 6-1 win over the visiting Brandon Wheat Kings in Western Hockey League play Sunday.

Black is second in Swift Current scoring with 22 goals and now has 45 points on the year after his three-point performance.

Swift Current (29-27-7) also had a two-goal performance from Colby Cave, who now has 18 goals on the season. Levi Bews, with his 18th of the season and Ryon Moser, who scored his 16th of the year, also scored for the Broncos.

Brandon's Eric Roy scored 5:25 into the third period, picking up his 15th of the season and spoiling Swift Current's shutout bid. The Wheat Kings remain last in the Eastern Conference at 21-37-5.

Swift Current netminder Eetu Laurikainen turned aside 22-of-23 shots, while Brandon's Corbin Boes gave up six goals on 42 shots.
