Lodge, Bratina and Locke combine for eight points as the Spirit down the Sting

SARNIA, Ont. - Jimmy Lodge scored twice and Zach Bratina had a goal and two assists as the Saginaw Spirit downed the host Sarnia Sting 6-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Steven Strong and Nick Moutrey each had a goal and an assist for the Spirit (25-21-6), who won for the first time in three outings, while Eric Locke chipped in with three assists.

Garret Ross scored a single goal to round out Saginaw's offence.

Reid Boucher scored both goals for the Sting (29-21-3) and Charles Sarault and Nikolay Goldobin each had two assists.

Boucher now has 47 goals in 53 games, which is good for first in OHL scoring.

Jake Paterson stopped 24 shots for the win as JP Anderson made 26 saves in a losing cause.

Saginaw went 1 for 3 on the power play while Sarnia scored once on seven chances with the man advantage.
