Feser scores twice as the Americans edge the Thunderbirds in OT

KENT, Wash. - Justin Feser scored twice, including the winner 27 seconds into overtime, as the Tri-City Americans edged the host Seattle Thunderbirds 4-3 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.

Malte Stromwall and Parker Bowles each had a goal and an assist for the Americans (31-19-3), who have won three games in a row, and Luke Lee-Knight made 32 saves for the win.

Jesse Forsberg, Seth Swenson and Connor Sanvido scored for the Thunderbirds (19-29-5), who hold down the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, and Brandon Glover turned aside 24 shots in a losing cause.

Both clubs went 0 for 4 on the power play.
