Isles' McDonald faces supplemental discipline hearing

New York Islanders right wing Colin McDonald will have a hearing Wednesday with the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety.

McDonald was assessed a five-minute boarding major and a game misconduct for a hit he delivered to Ben Lovejoy at the 18:54 mark of the second period of Tuesday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Consol Energy Center.
