OTTAWA - For the second time in less than two weeks, the Ottawa 67’s were thoroughly embarrassed by the London Knights, this time 11-1 on home ice.

On Jan. 11 in London the Knights doubled Ottawa 10-5 in a game that flattered the 67’s compared to Thursday. Not only did the 67’s get outscored by double digits, they were also outscored 4-1 while on the power play.

Tyler Ferry, Josh Anderson, Max Domi and Seth Griffith all scored short-handed for the Knights, although Griffith’s goal did come on a penalty shot as well.

Domi had two other goals for his third career hat trick while Chris Tierney collected his first hat trick in the Ontario Hockey League. Bo Horvat had two goals for the Knights (36-8-3) and Dakota Mermis had four assists.

Brett Gustavsen scored a first-period power-play goal to account for the only scoring the 67’s (12-33-3) would receive despite seven power plays. They were also outshot 45-20.

The Knights led 3-1 after the first and 6-1 after 40 minutes and scored four times in seven man advantage opportunities.
