Nicholls with three points as the Blades double up the Raiders

SASKATOON - Josh Nicholls scored twice and set up one more as the Saskatoon Blades doubled up the visiting Prince Albert Raiders 6-3 on Friday in Western Hockey League play.

Darren Dietz had a goal and an assist for the Blades (21-18-1) while Shayne Gwinner, Adam Kambeitz and Lukas Sutter each scored once.

Riley Guenther, Jayden Hart and Anthony Bardaro scored for the Raiders (24-13-3), who have an eight-point lead on Saskatoon for first in the East Division.

Patrick Johnson stopped 36 shots for the win as Luke Siemens made 40 saves in a losing cause.

Saskatoon went 1 for 4 on the power play while Prince Albert scored once on seven chances with the man advantage.
