Kujawinski and Ikonen lead the Frontenacs over the Generals

KINGSTON, Ont. - Ryan Kujawinski and Henri Ikonen each had a goal and an assist as the Kingston Frontenacs downed the visiting Oshawa Generals 6-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Cody Alcock, Marc Beckstead, Samuel Schutt and Luke Hietkamp also scored for the Frontenacs (19-17-2) while Mikko Vainonen chipped in with two assists.

Brian Hughes had a goal and an assist for the Generals (22-15-3) as Cole Cassels and Scott Laughton each scored once.

Mike Morrison turned away 27 shots for the win as Daniel Altshuller allowed five goals on 22 shots through 44 minutes of action to pick up the loss. Ken Appleby stopped all 12 shots he faced in relief.

Kingston went 1 for 4 on the power play while Oshawa scored three times on five chances with the man advantage.
