Scheifele scores twice, including OT winner, as the Colts beat the Spitfires 6-5

BARRIE, Ont. - Mark Scheifele scored the overtime winner as the Barrie Colts edged the visiting Windsor Spitfires 6-5 in Ontario Hockey League action on Saturday night.

Scheifele had two goals and an assist for Barrie (16-5-1), while Ryan O’Connor, Anthony Camara, Josh MacDonald and Erik Bradford scored a goal apiece.

Zach Hall chipped in with three assists for the Colts.

Kerby Rychel, Josh Ho-Sang, Brady Vail, Chris Marchese and Ty Bilcke scored for Windsor (9-8-5), while Saverio Posa added a pair of assists.

Mathias Niederberger turned aside 28 shots in the win as Jaroslav Pavelka made 40 saves in a losing cause.

Both teams found success on the power play, with each squad going 2-for-4.
